LONDON, July 6. The Paris correspondent of "The Times" says that an inquiry has been1 (ordered into a Franco-Italian frontier i incident when two Frenchmen on holijday inadvertently crossed the frontier ! and were fired on by Italian frontier 1 guards. j I The Frenchmen immediately re- \ traced their steps, but the guards continued firing until the Frenchmen were 250 yards inside the French frontier, where one, Rene Delaitre, a medical student, was seriously wounded. Empty Italian cartridge cases are alleged to have been found 25 yards inside French territory.
