PAN-PACIFIC CONFERENCE
.-. The women of Wellington will commence their activities in connection with the important Pan-Pacific Conference in 1940, at a reception to be held in the Pioneer Club tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Miss Elsie Andrews, chairwoman of the Pan-Pacific Committee,, will ; address representatives of women's organisations.
The National Council of Women and affiliated societies of the Pan-Pacific Association invite representatives from all organisations not affiliated to the council to be present, and also extend an. urvitation to all others who are spe|siily, interested in the conference. v(Much enthusiasm is already being displayed and invitations to meetihgS:i;Bre being- accepted.
