THREE INJURED
WELLINGTON RESIDENTS
(Specfaf to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day,
Three residents of Wellington are in the Palmerston North Hospital as the result of a collision between two cars at the West-Church Streets intersection yesterday afternoon. The injured are Miss V. Hocking, 9 Mortimer Terrace, Wellington; Miss D. Allan, 333 Willis Street, Wellington; and Mr. O. Staveley, 6 Courtenay Place. They were in a car proceeding along West Street in heavy rain. The other car, driven by Mr. N. P. Nielsen, of Taiaki'tahuna, who had his wife and son with him, was travelling down Church Street. The Wellington car turned completely over and was badly damaged. Mr. Nielsen's car was damaged the full length of the right-hand side. As far as is known, none of those in hospital is seriously hurt.
