FLOODS AND TYPHOONS
DAMAGE IN JAPAN
HEAVIEST RAIN IN 20 YEARS

TOKIO, June 29.
Floods and typhoons are causing extensive damage throughout Japan. The heaviest rain in 20 years resulted in the flooding of 100,000 houses in th# suburbs of Tokio. _ _ Eleven children were buried alive by a landslide, and a number of deaths art reported elsewhere.
