INJURED BY EXPLOSION

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DARGAVILLE, This Day. Serious injuries to her right hand and arm were received by Miss Olive Bell, of Ruawai, following an explosion of blasting powder that had been accidentally thrown into a stove. Miss Bell emptied dust from some boxes left in the house by a previous occupier into the stove, and a small quantity of blasting powder, which had been left in one of the boxes, exploded. Her condition is satisfactory.
