AUSTRALIAN INSURANCE BILL ONE IMPORTANT AMENDMENT (Received June 29, 9.50 a.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. The Senate, by 16 votes to 6, agreed to an amendment- which reverses the decision of the House of Representatives to exempt from the provisions of the National Insurance Bill hospital employees receiving benefits not less favourable than those provided for under the scheme. This is the only important amendment made by the Senate in passing the Bill.
