NEW AIR SERVICE
AMSTERDAM-SYDNEY FIRST PLANE DEPARTS (Received June 29, 9 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, June 28. The first plane in the AmsterdamSydney service departed after a brief ceremony, at which representatives of the British Legation were present. Although the K.L.M. Company has no intention of racing Imperial Airways to Australia, the plane is expected to arrive in Sydney about tho same time as the Cordelia, though it departed from Europe two days later.
