PLUNKET BALL

TEA DANCE AFTER RACES Those who intend being present at the Plunket Society's Covent Garden Ball are advised to purchase tjieir tickets early. No invitations are sent out for this ball, everyone being welcome. Tickets will be on sale at the D.I.C. tomorrow, when the box plan for gallery seats will be opened. Seats in the gallery will be much sought after, as decorations and ballets will be unusually spectacular. A number of alcoves on the dance floor will be available for those who wish to make up parties. An advertisement in this issue gives further particulars. The young people's committee are arranging another tea dance. This one will take place at Miss Phyllis Bates s studio, 33 Willis Street, on Tuesday, July 5, from 6to 9 p.m. It is expected that many young people who have been to the Trentham races will make the tea dance the grand finale to the day's outing.
