NEW MOVE BY ITALY?
SPECULATION IN ROME (Received June 29, 11 am.) ROME, June 29. It is believed Italy is planning an important new move in Spain. Widespread speculation has been aroused by conferences between Signor Mussolini and heads of the army yesterday. Such meetings are rarely given publicity and the fact that „this meeting was announced may be intended to prepare the public for an exceptionally important decision. Officially nothing is known of the British Prime Minister's reported appeal to Signor Mussolini to restrain bombings by the Nationalist forces in Spain.
