NOTE ON BOJVIBING OF SHIPS PROMPT RESPONSE ASKED FOR (British Official Wireless.) (Received June 29, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, June 28. Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the Prime Minister said that no reply had yet been received from Burgos regarding the bombing of British ships. He added that a further communication had been sent to Sir Robert Hodgson instructing him to press for a reply forthwith in order that he might return to London without delay. The chairman's sub-committee of the Non-intervention Committee met today to consider further the financing of the withdrawal scheme.
