WOMEN'S HOCKEY
WELLINGTON TEAM The Wellington representative team chosen by the sole selector (Miss M. Wilkins) to play against the touring English team on July 9, at the Basin Reserve, was announced at last night's meeting of the Wellington Women's Hockey Association. The team is as follows:—Mrs. V. Keillor (Hutt United), M. Simpson (T.O.G. 1), Z. Morris (C.0.G.), I. Morris (C.0.G.), T. Monk (Hutt United), J. McDowell (Hutt United), I. Pickering (C.0.G.) captain, H. McLellan (C.0.G.), N. Prestney (C.0.G.), J. Mack (T.O.G. 1), and J. Riley (Poneke). The emergencies are Mesdames A. Smith (Hutt United) and F. Sundgren (Hutt United). The team will be photographed next Thursday, and for this purpose will meet at 7.30 p.m. at the corner of Manners and Cuba Streets.
