EARL WINTERTON

TO HELP AT HOME OFFICE

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 23. The Prime Minister announced in the House of Commons that in view of the volume and importance of the work of the Home Office in connection with air-raid precautions Earl Winterton had agreed to help the Home Secretary with the other work of his Department, both at the Home Office and in the House, thus enabling the UnderSecretary (Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd) to devote practically the whole of his time to assisting the Home Secretary in conducting air-raid precautions business.
