The fourth annual meeting of the St. Andrews Burns Club, held on | Monday, was well attended. Mr J I Torrance was in the chair. During B£ eV !! nin . g Mr. J. B. Thomson recited The Minister's Fiddle" and "Happy We Have Been Together," and community singing was held. Members stood in silence as a tribute to the memory of Mr. J. Brackenridge, • who was a member of the club. ' Officers were elected as follows-— President, Mr. A. Hogg; senior president, Mr. J. R. Baird; junior president, Mr. A. McCune; secretary, Mr. J. G MacKenzie; treasurer, Mr. J. B. Thomson; committee, Messrs. J. L. Steel, A. Fleming, P. M. Cameron, Mesdames A. Hogg, H. McWhinnie, R. Leamuth, and Miss B. Clarke; auditor, Mr. P. M. Cameron; official piper, Mr. A. Barclay; official pianist, Mrs. W. Hall, A.T.C.L • song leader, Mr. D. Neill Keith; club delegates to Scots Society, Messrs. A. Hogg, J. G. MacKenzie, and J. B. Beard.
