Barnard, 4 and 2; G. Redward beat G. J. Stevenson, 2 and 1; C. Redward beat J. Lawson, 5 and 4. In the first round of the T, Romam Cup competition, R. Hill beat M. Jacobson, 2 up; L. Young beat J. Ryan, 2 and. 1; N. Cathie beat D. McArthur, by default; D. Hennessey beat C. Nausbaum, 4 and 2; B. Blake beat G. James by default; H. Cathie beat R. Howatson, 6 and 4; J. Burge beat G. Radford, 2 and 1; J. Schierning beat I. Worthington, 2 and 1. In the second round, L. Young beat R. Hill, 6 and 5; D. Hennessey beat N. Cathie, 7 and 6; H. Cathie beat B. Blake, 3 and 1; J. Burge beat J. Schierning, 4 and 3. A bogey competition for other players resulted in a win for C. Carlyon with the good score of sup Next came D. I. Barron, 2 up. Both these players have been rehandicapped, Carlyon to 15-11, Barron to 20-15, and L. Young to 20-15.
