A stroke competition on the Mornington links on Saturday resulted in, a tie between W. G. A. Walker, 89, 24— 65, and C. Venimore, 83, 18—65. A mixed Canadian foursome stroke competition yesterday was won by Mrs. Colch and E. F. Craighead, 82, 18 —64. Next were Miss Kilworth and H. J. Shanks, 88, 19—69; Mrs. Sly and L. F. Barton, 85, 16—69; Mrs. Hough land C. Aamodt, 89,18—71; Mr. and Mrs. Stratmore, 82, 11—71; Miss Clark and R. W. Williams, ,85, 14—71; Mrs. Hand and L. Henderson, 87, 15—72; Mrs. Barron and E. J. F. Andrews, 89, 17—72. An 18-hole stroke aggregate competition was won by S. J. Wilson and W. Shilling, 133 net. Next were C. Myers and N. Lincoln 138, T. O'Kehy and H. Baigent 138, C. Eversleigh and A. Watkins 139, J. Watkins and A. Minifle 140, W. J. Cooch and A. Hood 141, J. Webber and J. Blakeley 141. A stableford competition was won Dy W. H. Kelly (8) with 35 points. W. Taylor 34, C. Wheeler 33, A. G. King 33, L. W. McGirr 32, and A. Charles 31 were next.
