HOUSEHOLD PAINTING
! When doing any household painting the brush should always be used in the same final direction, and when using enamel or varnish the brushstrokes should be crossed and ,then finished with a perpendicular stroke. The brush should never be overloaded, especially when using oil paints, and the work should not be done in a hurried fashion. Divide the work into sections and be sure that the second section is started before the first one is dry. If possible avoid damp or cold weather when there is any painting or enamelling to be done.
