THEFT OF FUR COAT

For stealing a fur coat at Upper Hutt on Saturday, Henry Barrett (alias McMillan) was sentenced to three months' imprisonment with hard labour by Messrs. P. Eobertson and W. Greig, J.P.s, in the Upper Hutt Court this morning. He was convicted and discharged on a further charge of drunkenness. Barrett, who sold the coat, said he could not recollect where he had got it.
