MARKET DEPRESSED
GILT-EDGED SALES ESPECIALLY NEViTZEALAND STOCKS (Received May 14, 11 a.m.) LONDON, May' 13. i The effect of the undersubscription to the Australian and London County Council loans has been to depress the gilt-edged investments generally, • and there is some selling of New Zealand, and this is evidently due to criticisms of the Dominion in the popular Press. Industrial shares are irregular and commodities are slightly dearer. The repatriation of the franc has had but little effect on the London Stock Exchange, which is now in its difllest condition with prices generally irregular.
