ABYSSINIA QUESTION
FINLAND'S ATTITUDE ANNEXATION RECOGNISED (Received May 14, 10.30 a.m.) HELSINKI, May 13. Finland, has recognised the Italian annexation of Abyssinia. EXACTLY AS BEFORE ABYSSINIA AND LEAGUE LONDON, May 13. The Geneva correspondent of the "'Manchester Guardian" reports that the Abyssinian position remains exactly where it was. Abyssinia is still a member of the League and it will be difficult for the secretariat to decline Hjaile Selassie's cheque. The credentials committee faces an awkward decision at the September meeting of the Assembly.
