INQUIRY DEMANDED
FATE OF MISSING STEAMER | LONDON, May 13. The wives of the crew of the missing steamer Anglo-Australian demand public inquiry into her fate and an aerial and marine search of the South Atlantic islands, owing to the possibility of her having broken down and drifted off the shipping lanes. A messagej from London on May 9 said that the relatives of the crew of 38 on the London steamer Anglo-Aus-tralian had been informed that hope had been abandoned and that the vessel was' presumed to have sunk in the Atlantic.
