BIBLE LECTURES.
Lectures on the foundational facts of the Christian faith will be delivered by the Rev; J. J. North, D.D., of Auckland, in the. Vivian Street Baptist Church from May 17 to May 28. The lectures, which are to be given under the auspices of the combined Baptist churches of Wellington are on the fol- ! lowing subjects:—May 17, "God—Why We Believe—What We Believe"; May 18, "Man —His Origin, State, Destiny"; May 19, "The Saviour—God and Man, and Both Perfectly"; May 24, "The Cross—Salvation by Sacrifice"; May 25, "The Obtaining of Salvation—What Faith is and What it Implies"; May 26, "Features of the Future—Here and Hereafter." All meetings will commence at 7.30 p.m. All interested are invited, and relevant questions will be answered at the close of each lecture.
