Zealand Red Cross—to whom my wife and I were indebted for endless hospitality and kindnesses. We were together . throughout my tour, in the course of which We visited, in addition to the headquarters in Wellington, the Red Cross centres and sub-centres at Christchtirch, -Dune-din;.. .Greymouth, Nelson, Blenheim, Masterton, and Palmerston North. We also visited Hamilton, Ashburton, and. Timaru,.. addressing meetings of interested people with a view to the formation of Red Cross sub-centres in those localities. This entailed, in the course of 28 days spent in New Zealand, travelling some 20UU miles and delivering 39 speeches and addresses, including six broadcasts.
