ALMA AND VALMARCH

DUNEDIN, April 8.

A E. Didham will be at Riverton for the first day, and will then go through to Christchurch to ride Alma, who will be in charge of his brother, A Didham. Horses from this stable will also be at Tuapeka and Beaumont. . Valmarch seems to have recovered from the stiffness exhibited at Oamaru and he bowled along freely in work this week. He will probably be ridden at Riverton by L. J. Ellis. Night Wings is going to Riccarton instead of the Central Otago country meetings and may be ridden by A. E. Norseman and High Glee are going to Riverton. but will not race until the second and third days. Travenna has returned to the scene. He has put on a lot of condition and it will be some time before he will be ready to race again.
