BASQUE CHILDREN

400 REPATRIATED

RUGBY, March 23.

Four hundred Basque children, who have been cared for' in England for the past nine months have left London for Bilbao. The children wore new Clothes and carried presents from English friends. They are to be accompanied to the international village.at Irun by representatives of the Basque | Children Committee.

■All 400 children have been in regular correspondence with their' families while in England. More than 1800 children have now been repatriated, but 2000 still remain in Britain. Their parents are still in danger zones.
