Seven traffic inspectors attached to the Wellington City Council were sworn in as special constables by, Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court today. They now enjoy the same privileges and immunities, and are, liable to all the duties and' responsibilities oi ordinary constables. Practically all the City Council traffic officers are now special constables.
