COUNCIL EMPLOYEE'S DEATH
(By Telegraph—Press Association.l • CHRISTCHURCH, March 23. , The body of Joseph Reuben Roots, SO Trafalgar Street, Christchurch, an ernplpyee- of the Christchurch City Council, who had been missing since March 5, was. found today ' shortly after noon at the' back, of the Waimairi golf course. The head was blown off. A piece of. fuse was'found in one of Roots's pockets. .. An inquest will be: opened today.
