GOLDEN RATA IN BLOOM
An extremely rare plant, the golden rata, is now in flower on a farm on the Mauku-Glenbrook road (states the "New Zealand Herald"). The golden rata formerly grew in three places in this locality, forming the points, of an equilateral triangle. Attempts made a few years ago to raise seedlings of the beautiful plant failed, but further efforts will be made as $oon as this season!s seed ripens.
