BRITISH IMPORTS
FOREIGN WOOLLEN GOODS
British imports of wool tissues are advancing more rapidly than any other section of England's purchases of partly or fully manufactured wool textile goods (reports "The Post's" London correspondent, February 18). If the present rate is maintained, it will not represent more than 3 per cent, of Great Britain's own estimated annual production of woollen and worsted tissues, but it cannot be said that West Riding manufacturers are entirely easy in mind about it.
