WARSHIPS' MOVEMENTS
H.M.S. Wellington left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Wellington and is due here tomorrow. The Wellington, ■vvhich has been refitting at Auckland, will remain here until April 2 to allow her ratings to undergo their annual musketry and field drill course at Trentham. She will leave here on April 2 for Akaroa, where, in company With H.M.S. Leith, she will do five days' mine-sweeping training with Royal Naval Volunteer Reservists. On April 9 she will return to Wellington and two days later will leave for Auckand. With the Leith she will sail from Auckand on April O,G for Sydney, where the ships are due on May 2.
H.M.S. Wakakura left Wellington this morning for Cook Strait, where the Royal Naval Volunteer Reservists who are aboard will receive minesweeping instruction. ■ Afterwards she will proceed to Lyttelton, arriving there tomorrow, and next week she will take R.N.V.R. men from Lyttelton on a cruise to South Island ports.
