Last year, the Royal Sanitary Institute London decided to appoint an examining board and examiners in New Zealand. Candidates have hitherto had to r.wait results of their examinations by the London board. Mr. J. Fletcher, chief inspector of the Lower Hutt Borough, who set last year's examination papers, has been appointed both a member of the board and an j examiner.
