MORRISON—DUGGAN
' St. Mary of the Angels' Church was the' scene of the1 wedding cf Moira, only daughter of-Mr. and Mrs. G. Duggan, Miramar, and Lawrence Keith, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Morrison, Petone. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Dr. G. H. Duggan; S.M., .assisted by the Rev. C. F. Duggan, S.M., both brothers of the bride, and Dr. F. RaSmussen, S.M., uncle of the bride, was present in the sanctuary. The altar was decorated with tall pink ■. gladioli. During the Mass, Nuptial music was played by the organist, Mrs. Aldridge. .
The bride entered the tyiurch escorted by her father. Lines of classical simplicity marked her gown of gleaming1 ivory satin with its heart-shaped neckline edged with an upstanding frill of tulle.. and sleeves slightly gathered at the shoulders,' tapering to points at the wrist. The veil of billowy cut tulle was worn over, the face and was! held .in place by a coronet
formed an' effective trimming. The veil was artistically arranged to. fall In a shower from a cluster of orange blossom worn on the top of her head. She carried a beautiful bouquet of Christmas lilies and roses.' the 'bridesmaids' were Miss'Phyllis Groves (chief) and Miss June Archer, who were gowned in-blue and coral pink taffeta respectively. Their dainty period ■ frocks were made alike, with full graceful-skirts and full -sleeves pleated'at the elbows. The square necklines were finished with , corsages of flowers. Haloes and bouquets were to tone. The little flower girl, Helen Brosnahan, wore a dainty frock of blue I taffeta trimmed with frills at the waist, sleeves; and hemline. She wore a halo of flowers, and carried a posy of pink carnations. ' ■. ■ Mr. W. Ball was the best man, and Mr. A.- Wright groomsman. During the 'signing of the register Mrs- Pay sang "Ave Maria;" „ . - A reception was held nt the Southern Colledge studio,-where Mrs. Kristianson received the guests; She wore a smart black costume and a black hat trimmed with roses.- , '■■'■' When the bride'and bridegroom left the bride wore a'blue frock with hat and accessories to tone. ' . ■
A ribbon of.' coloured ' paillettes twined round the; decolletage of an evening'frock'makes an 'effective trimming when a muff or b"ag;of paillettes is used.: to '.accentuate the colour. ; . ,
