The,home of Mrs. A.' Gillies, 3 Lindum Terrace, Oriental; Bay, was . the scene of a gay "kitchen tea" party recently iti honour of Miss Irene Corkill; whose marriage to Mr. Harold Burley will take place next week. About 50 guests were present and many beauti-. ful gifts were received. Songs were sung by Mrs, T. Corkill and Mrs. J. McKeown and competitions were.enjoyed. Mrs. W. R. Andrews assisted Mrs. Gillies in entertaining the guests.
