At 146ft in a-cross leader 9in wide was cut running into westwall, value 13s per ton. Another 7ft of driving should hole through to No. 2 reef. No. 3 Level.—Stoping on reef going into westwall off No. 1 reef north averages 17in wide, value £2 19s 6d per ton. No. 3 Level. —Stopes on No. 2 reef north averages 18in, value £1 19s per ton. No. 3 Level.—Stopes on No. 4 reef north. and south of crosscut- west averages 10in, value £5 14s 8d per ton. No. 3 Level—Stopes on westwall branch reef north of rise averages 12in, value £2 12s per ton. Bottom intermediate Level.—Underhand stopes. No. 1 reef south average 18in wide, value £6 13s per ton. The mine was closed down for the Christmas holidays from December 23 to January 3.
