SALES AGAIN INCREASE
A net profit of £10,704 is shown in.: the accounts of Berlei (N.Z.) Limited for the year ended December. 19, compared with £9502 in the previous year and £6260 in 1935. The profit is struck after allowing for aepresiation and income-tax. The directors recommend a final dividend of 2s a share makmg. 3s 6d a share, or 17£, per cent, for the year against-::12 per cent, in the previous^ period, v With..,£2039;,: brought forward, there .is •. £12,743 ,v available Thei-year's dividend V requires £8750 and ' £2751 '■ is transferred to .reserve Account. An amount of £1242 is carried forward. -The directors'-report states that sales have again shown an increase.
