The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily. Telegraph" states that a 30 per cent, increase in imports was the chief feature of Germany's foreign. trade in 1937. The .first, year of General Goering's four-year plan thus failed to produce a decrease'in the country's dependence on overseas supplies.
