EXHIBITION DRIVEWAY

Work on the causeway linking Evans Bay Road with Kilbirnie is proceeding apace, and', within a month the small remaining gap should be filled, and the link completed. From the point where the foot of Wellington Road meets Evans Bay Road, the work of widening Evans Bay Road towards the Patent Slip is now proceeding. This work consists of the formation of a footpath arid retaining wall on the seaward side, with steps down to a low walk.at high water level. At the other end formation is also proceeding, and will be extended along Evans Bay Road as far as possible.
