MR. A. F. FOOT
Mr. Augustus Francis Foot, a prominent member, of the . Wellington Bowling Club, and a retired bank manager, died in .a private hospital in Wellington this morning, after a short illness. Mr. Foot, who was in.his sixtyfirst year, was born at Greymouth, and had lived in Wellington since his retirement, from the Bank of New Zealand in 1933. Prior to his' retirement he had been manager of the bank branches in Woodville, Takapau, and Cromwell, and during the war years had been on the staff of the Wellington branch. Since his retirement in 1933 he had been a prominent member of the Wellington Bowling Club, and at the time, of his death he was one of the directors of the club. He was also on the staft^pf the Bank Officers' Guild.
Mr. Foot, whose residence was at 79 Todman Street, Brooklyn, leaves a widow, and four sons, Messrs. F. J. Foot, P. F. Foot, and W. M. Foot, of Wellington, and Mr. W. Foot, of-Inver-cargill.
