KIPLING MEMORIAL

LONDON, November 18.

More than a thousand men and women admirers of the late Mr. Rudyard Kipling, from all over the world, attended the inaugural banquet of the Kipling Memorial Fund, the purpose of, which is to establish bursaries for boys from countries throughout the Empire to attend Kipling's old school, the Imperial Service College. A sum of £35,000 has already been subscribed, Those who attended the banquet sent a message and a basket of flowers to Mr. Kipling's widow.
