Whitehall denies that Lord Halifax is going to Berlin bearing instructions and a list of questions. The visit is purely private, but naturally contact will be made With tierrnari leaders. ' Suggestions are also denied of friction between the Foreign Secretary and Lord Halifax over the visit.
Lord Halifax leaves lot Berlin at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
