In New Zealand the Health Camp movement makes an effective; contribution ;to ,;this great national objective a't'an early stage in the lives of the children; Those who "are found! to be under-nourished; or in any other way physically handicapped are given the opportunity of restoration in onei of the-many health camps., Within, a; few weekg, these pleasant places will be: filled by! children .who.'^can,look forward to several weeks of good diet/ rest, and well-organised: recreation.

Mean while the Health stamp-1-"penny for health- penny for postage"—is being sold by the Post Office and many voluntary assistants who provide the means for this activity. This year's appeal, through -the- medium of the Health stamp, was inaugurated on October 1, and the number of stamps sold to November 7.-total; 435,391. Already the health camps have . received benefit from the -campaign to the extent of £2121 15s sd.
