' At the meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association last .night a.protest was received from the .Kilbirnie Club, against Petone's playing an exsenior player in a third grade team on October 30. It was decided that Petone should forfeit the eight points gained for the win and that the match should be replayed at the end of the season if it had any bearing on the erade or club championships. Dyer (Technical College Old Boys). L. S. Pointon (Petone). The practices commence at 4.30 p.m. today. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. Following are the senior fixtures for next Saturday:—Hutt v. Institute, at Hutt, Messrs. Jenhess and Woolcott; Kilbirnie v. Karori, at Kilbirnie, Messrs. Baker and Webb; Old Boys v. University, at Basin Reserve No. 1, Messrs. Aitken and Jensen; Wellington 'v. Midland, at Basin Reserve No. 2, Messrs. Harris-Daw and Moore.
