The first of a series , of fortnightly meetings open to all Wellington* athletes was conducted by the Scottish Harriers and Amateur Athletic Club at Hataitai Park on Thursday evening. The results were as follows:— 100 yds Handicap.—B. Synot (Kiwi),' 3yds, 1; W. Reeve (Scottish), 9yds, 2; C. Robinson (Kiwi), scr, 3. Time, 11 2-ssec.
Three-quarter-Mile Handicap.-—A. Mackay (Wellington), 10yds, 1; J. Riddington (Scottish), syds, 2; A. Bourgeois (Wellington), scr, 3.'Time, 3min 20 2-ssec.
