ITALIANS IN MILK!
Italian women may soon be wearing milk, and milk will soon be floating over public buildings in Italy, states an exchange.
Ah ingenious inventor has discovered how to make milk wool, a substitute for raw wool, and this is now being sold at about five shillings a yard. ■ Men's suits can be made of milk wool, but the material, which is very similar to wool, but has not the same wearing qualities nor the same resistance to cold, is intended for lighter garments, and is said to be admirable for women's wear.
The new milk wool, which may be bought in a great variety of colours, is known as lanital; and an order has gone forth that flags and banners arc to be made of this material, of which the Italians arc exceedingly proud.
