(By Telegraph.— Press AssoclatToti.i WANGANUI, This Day. Leslie James Wedderspoon and Eobert George Burns, of Auckland, were sentenced to two months' imprisonment for assaulting Martin John Hardigan, a traffic inspector, near Karioi, on November 2. For the theft of keys, Wedderspoon was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, and for the theft of petrol both accused were sentenced to one month, the sentences to be cumulative. On a charge of car conversion they were remanded to apI pear at Napier on November 12.
