PRINTERS' DINNER

A dinner of the Wellington Club of Printing House Craftsmen was held last night, when ninety members and representatives of the printing houses of Wellington were present as guests of Messrs. Morrison and Morrison. Mr. H. Lines presided. A comprehensive and interesting lecture on the manufacture and application of all classes of printing inks was given by Mr. G. O. Morrison, who recently returned to New Zealand after being abroad for seven years, most of which time was spent in Canada and U.S.A. Mr. G. T. Savage, vice-president, spoke on "The Craftsman Movement." Musical items were provided. An apology ifor absence was received from the Minister in Charge of the Government Printing Office (the Hon. P- C- Webb). .
