DUNEDIN, This Day.

Last month was the driest October in Dunedin since 1929, the rainfall being .53 inches. The same applies to the whole of Otago, where rain is still badly needed, and unless it comes q/.ickly the lack*of rain will have disastrous results. November has opened with warm days and no sign of ,the weather changing.
