REMAINING AT SCHOOL

Reporting to the Board of Managers last evening, Mr. A. McFadyen, principal \of the Hutt Valley; Memorial Technical College, stated that during the month there had been the usual requests for pupils to fill positions. He was pleased to say, hbwever, that the' tendency was for pupils to remain at school and not, as was the case two or three years ago, to take the first position offering. As practically all the senior pupils had ! gone, the tendency to rerhain at school was' to be commended, especially if it arose from a desire to be better prepared for the position when it came 7along.
