ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

There was a good attendance of members and friends at the last meeting of the Hutt Valley Railway Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade.

Ambulanpe-Ofticer A. McPherson welcomed the visitors, and introduced the speaker for the evening, pr. H. G. Rix. The lecturer gave twp very interesting addresses, the first dealing with "Digestion" and the second "The Skin." After answering several questions, Dr. Rix was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.

The secretary reported that he had received a request that the.division assist with the sale of stamps on behalf of the Far East Relief Fund.

A visit on Novertiber 11 from the Lower Hutt Nursing Division was announced. A demonstration of roller bandaging will be given by the ladies.
