A' meeting of jockeys at Ellerslie yesterday considered the advisability of forming an association of New Zealand jockeys and appointed a provisional committee to draft rules for submission to a meeting at Trentham a fortnight hence. The intention, it was stated, was to register a Dominion-wide organisation of jockeys and later to meet the New Zealand Racing Conference in reference to the rates of remuneration and the conditions of employment.
