TECHNICAL CLUB
: The annual meeting of the Wellington Technical College Students' Association Tennis Club was held recently, the president, Mr. F. H. Paul presiding. • ■;■"' In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the president said that the ciub had not shown such marked progress as hitherto, but the finances of the club were in a, good position. The retiring officers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks, special reference being made to the services rendered to the club by the retiring .captain, Mr. S. Blair. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. R. C. Ridling; president, Mr. F. H. Paul; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. H. Howell. R. Y. Walls, and E. T. Lander; captain, Mr. F. Black; vicecaptain, Mr. K. Dunnet; secretary. Miss C. A.. Hansen; treasurer, Mr. W. I. Gibson; auditor, Mr. E. Rex; committee, ■ Misses P. Basire, E. Dunce, and E. Ruddell, and Messrs. E. Vaney, W. Moore, and J. Tricker; selection. committee. Mr. F. Black, Mr. K. Dunnet. and Miss E. Ruddell. The opening- date was fixed for Saturday, September 18." A dance will be held on October 9.-
